about me
I love new experiences, tasty food, gardening, making lists and writing down goals, watching movies and reading books, painting, quirky senses of humor, and trying to make the world a better place.
My husband Paul and I met while serving in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps on the east coast. We've been married for two years and have had lots of adventures together. We still try to live the JVC values of community, simple living, spirituality, and social justice. We love to travel, to practice our photography, to eat delicious food, and to spend time with friends and family. We especially love our two beagles Pedro and Diego.
Inspired by our time in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, we began an intentional community in Milwaukee two years ago and have learned lots of lessons while living there. We're now living on our own for the first time in our marriage and loving it. I also started a community garden, and I'm about to start my third season as the garden's director.
Love sharing joy from this one, wonderful life I've been given. Welcome and thanks for reading!
Please feel free to contact me via email at findingjoyinallthings870 <at> gmail <dot> com. You can also follow me on instagram, facebook, twitter, bloglovin, pinterest, or goodreads! All photography on the blog by me, with an occasional photo from that hunky husband of mine.
