This picture reminds me of the book Jonathan Livingston Seagull. I finally read it after remembering Devin talk about it during JVC. It seems like a fitting book to go along with what you're thankful for. Have you read it?

Hey Mary!! I've been reading your blog, and I love it!! Want to try the ricotta pie now... Sounds wonderful! I especially loved this post! Reminded me that sometimes I need to stop and be grateful too :)
Sydney: Thanks for reading! Paul says the ricotta pie tastes healthy :) I took that to mean I could eat it for breakfast. I think the ricotta pie is a good basic recipe and would lend itself well to experimentation. The first thing I would try would be to add a teaspoon of vanilla and a little extra sugar. Hope all is well in CA!
